Thanks for sharing. Very enlightening and reassuring that there are some members of these committees who seem to have some understanding of the situation. I watched an Environment Audit Committee meeting a few months ago where one MP suggested that it may become law in the future that farmers would have to take all FYM to landfill! I am also surprised that there has been no discernible input from the NFU on this matter.

Can't believe I spent two hours watching this, it was worth it to get a feel for the positions of the different parties involved though. I have to say I'm now more relaxed about being able to continue bringing FYM onto my all arable acres from local intensive livestock units.

I was shocked and saddened to here of how much trouble the EA have with AD digestate pollution - green electric???!!!

I caught this guy on a webinar lunchtime today. Really very interesting. And I am very pleased to see when I checked out his CV he is on the DEFRA advisory panel.

The webinar was 'Zoom into Soil: Regenerative Agriculture" put on by the British Society of Soil Science. Never heard of it before. But I saw the webinar advertised from a link on Twitter by ADAS soil scientist. Assume it will be loaded onto the societies website at some stage.
This Zoom into Soil webinar is now live here if anyone wanted to watch back
