Your in UK selling to a polish guy so unles that guy lives in UK you are exporting and will need to provide the EORI number and all the other paper trail that goes with it. Doesnt matter if he i arranging collection and delivery.

If your man lives in UK then you dont need to do anything other than invoice him as normal.

Yes, the driver will turn up late in the day, with a lorry not designed to carry a drier in one piece, expect dismantling/loading and when the open the back doors of the lorry you will find it full already.
Sounds right going by what I'm dealing with .He's been ringing up promising to collect for over 2 months now and only just this morning asked about the number.it could still be hear this time next year. I'm starting to think is it worth it.

Oh so it's a regular thing...

We sold 2500litre tanker to a polish guy via FB, turned up in a 40ft curtain sider, full of 1 tonne bags of scrap metal, cable etc, furniture you name it. Spent an hour moving all the crap around to make space then had to lift the tanker in sideways. To be fair the lorry driver was good laugh, calling the other guy an idiot every other sentence 😀

Last drier i sold couldn't fault them. Driver turned up first thing in morning. He knew his stuff. Said he needed 2 hours to get sorted. Took burner unit off front then asked for help to roll the tank over and put the burner inside.
He knew exactly how to attach it all to front of handler so we could load it in curtain sider.
He's already got one on at the front and mine went in middle. Then he was off to collect another for the back.

Sold a round baler to a Polish dealer, gave us cash there and then. About a month later a massive car transporter with trailer unit arrived to take it. Had to reverse this baler up the ramps along the trailer across the bridge along the main transporter and up the ramp above the turntable all this on tracks with edges that were to narrow for the tractor and baler wheels. Job from hell! :banghead:

Dead easy, just fill out an online form and they email you the Eeyore number. Won't get through customs without it.

It will take several days to ‘process’ @rob h , even though it’s really just your VAT number with the letters ‘GB’ stuck on it.
