As you see above the Meadow Fescue is being low in germ, but that only makes up 5% of the mix.

The total mix still has an overall average germ level in excess of 97%.

Even if not required for horse hay, the mixture would still make a very good economic dual-purpose ley, or at worse a patching mix.
