estrumate mistake?

I have changed my fertility bet recently and when we prid non pregnant cows she insists I estrumate on day 7 and prid out on day 8....injected a cow last night at 6 pm and removed prid today at 6pm and noticed blood on tail....did this mean my cow was incalf......she was scanned at 45 days and when I inseminated her I couldn't through the cervix so just squirted semen in cervix.....

She won’t have aborted within 24hrs to estrumate and priding a pregnant cow won’t make them abort either. Either there was some sort of vaginitis to the prid or she has ovulated when the prid was still in which would be strange.

If it's any use here's the schedule I was given

9th - Prids in and 2ml Receptal - 9am

14th - 2ml Estrumate - 9am

15th - Pull Prids out - 9am

17th - AI 9am, 2ml Receptal

18th - AI 9am

I had a heifer show blood a day or so after the AI which obviously isn't a great sign and then later scanned and confirmed not in calf
