BASE UK (www.base-uk.co.uk ) are organising a trip to Frederic Thomas’s farm in France on the 4 November – the plan is to go by car or cars visiting farms either on the way to Frederics or on the way back (to be decided)

There will be a charge £30/head approx depending on how many come to cover a translator’s fee unless anyone would like to volunteer?!?!

There will also be accommodation expenses and fuel costs

The idea would be to meet at the tunnel and go in as few cars as possible.

Please use the RSVP feature here to say if your going

Unfortunately I cant go to this. I'm sure it will be very interesting; I would have liked to have gone. Would like to do a BASE trip to France next spring/early summer. Maybe you could keep half an eye open for farms to visit then? Have a good trip.

Hi Jim,

No, unfortunately I won't be able to make it this time.
Richard...I hope you will be going to the event at Harper Adams on November the 4th..it looks like being a very interesting day, but it needs a few hardliners such as yourself to go along to put a bit of reality into what they are doing. The last meeting I went to they were going to do direct-drilling trials with a Vaderstad Rapid..! However I think they have moved on since then and are going to do some very useful work.

Not sure yet, I will go if I can. Dick has already grown used to me bending his ear on No Till every time I bump into him. ;)
