Ewe Hoggs not in lamb

We had put a batch of 56 ewe lambs to the ram end of October when they were scanned there was 12 empty so wasn’t concerned about that! But have 14 lambed now and went threw them the other day and 22 have no sign of being in lamb they seem to be the ones that we’re tipped first! They were all vaccinated for enzo and toxo have been speaking to the vet and he says it sounds like enzo but is coming to take bloods tomorrow. Anybody else had this issue! Vet said it’s possible that they have got enzo before they were vaccinated?

Probably just spat them out at some point and you haven’t seen the bodies lambing hoggs is luck of the draw I wouldn’t really read too much into it

,as above ewe lambs are hit and miss,you will have better yearlings I reckon if they have slipped 1 though

Easy for hoggs to have the lambs knocked out them , change of feed, day to long on a field and weather turns bad can be enough ect

You can now sell them at a good price

Or keep them for shearling with improved immunity to local bugs.
