Expired date on powdered milk

I’ve only got a few sheep and this morning two lambs needed a bit of a top up . The powdered milk I have is out of date and local suppliers don’t have any at the moment.
Do you reckon it’s ok 2 years after best before date

If it's still sealed it will be fine, maybe not as much good stuff left but it won't have gone off

The vitamins etc. are likely to be at a low level but if it looks and smells alright, it's better than them having empty bellies.

We have used milk powder of a similar age, lambs took to it, grew up and ended up in the freezer.

I've used brand new colostrum and brand new milk and some of the b@stards died so it's just a roll of the dice

So long as it is not mouldy or stinking it will be fine.

They put a best before date to guarantee the vitamin/mineral content.

It'll do the job , as long as not gone like concrete in the bag . Stored well it c/o's . I've got a bit of lamb colostrum that was ood 2 yrs ago . F'er that I gave it to is bouncing around pre-turnout pen now !!
