Export electricity price

The TRIAD payment is under review by OFGEM and they are wanting to cut it by a third each year to around £4 per Kw from the present £45 or so. It certainly seems as if they are trying to claw as much money back from generators as they can

I recon you may have a 0 missing of the 10000 well I hope so.
How long have you had them? I should have got one a long time ago but just didn't jump.

Prices are fluctuating wildly around 20p at the moment. Great time to sign a new contract. Be warned though, it’s the wild west at the moment. Buyers are offering prices and then "refreshing" to a lower price when you agree to sign half an hour later. There’s definitely some games being played because of the volatility.

Has anyone got any current export paymants currently on 6.3p and looking at moving to 8.6p, with good energy. Just wondering if theres any other quote or who to ask for one?
We would be happy to provide you with a competitive quote for this. We're a Renewable electricity supplier specialising in PPAs for the Agricultural sector for over 10 years. We're also not on price comparison websites so you'd benefit from coming directly to us:
or drop us an email at: [email protected]

Both F&S and Alex @ Oaklands are quoting us.
We are exporting around 45,000 kw from solar.

Currently with EDF, and have been since 2013. Prices from them were like extracting teeth, but basically as the solar arrays got bigger and the windfarms more extensive they are not offering our size 'contracts' as such. We can keep rolling along, but the price offered from April is a current (5.57p kwh) plus 7.5%.
And it's taken me a couple of days and several hours on the phone / email to even get a quote.

We will not be staying.
