External pto switch retro fit on 6810 deere

Is it possible to retro fit a pto switch onto these old Deere’s? I do a lot of tanking and it’d be nice not that have to keep climbing in/out the cab to switch pto on and off. Not sure if it’s just a case of getting the switch and plugging it in

They’re pre wired for an external button,look on Jd parts website for the in cab activation button.

It is possible to wire them up just to switch off from the mudguard,basically breaking the contact.

You can also just take current from the D plug and go directly to the wires coming out the backend above the pto. Put a fuse in for good measure. There is a gab next to the lights plug where you can neatly put a hella pull switch. That way you can switch on both sides of the tractor. Lights on the dash will go flashy flashy but that never hurt my jd's.
