Sorry chaps, I have emptied the sheds instead..... almost! One ewe lambed in 10 days... 4 to go. Down to you @Wood fieldForecast said a run of dry days.., it’s raining and cold wind
My gift to you all .., I may run the moor ewes in to the shed as I am fed up with losing the lambs
Then there will be a heatwave !
@steveR you let us all down , get back to emptying sheds for your sheep
Yes done that. It looks like a horror movie out thereTry stringing one up by the wings so it flaps in the wind. Seems to work better
Hate it when you get that "London Bus" syndrome, all coming at once.Only 125 to go. Still going g fairly strong. Had 15 ewes lambed this morning already. Lost 2 lambs, a triplet I just couldn't keep breathing and found a twin with 2 heads out. Pushed 1 back in that survived the 1st to lamb again just couldn't keep going.
Yup, it seems to have worked with the one that was very poorly the other day. Now for him to put on some weight. I mixed some good live yoghurt in with one feed of milk/day since. He's on the ewe, too.Just trying various things but having a bit of success with watery mouth by using straight electrolytes for a couple of days just mixed with water. No milk. Plus alamycin.

What you say that for , the second I read sun it’s started raining againNobody say a word or move a muscle! The s..u..n is shining. Shhh don't frighten it off! Still windy as a windy thing but if you van get out of the wind it's positively tropical this afternoon.
Ground is drying out, just a bit.... Might get the HEAVY roll out tomorrow if still windy and push down a few @Wood field sized ruts (Toyota!) that I appear to have aquired after foolishly thinking I could travel far enough onto a field in a "dry spot! with the Kramer to put a treacle feeder out.Nobody say a word or move a muscle!
