It's been released a few weeks now and has had a lot of submissions (over 16,000 product prices now)

We are looking for feedback positive and negative to help us improve what we have so far

Any users got any improvement suggestions, please?

I don't mind uploading invoices, but often they arrive 2 weeks after the chemical is on. Its all a bit behind the curve. My quotes however are today's information. Do you not trust users enough to put on a quoted price?, or are you concerned about mistakes? The fuel and fertiliser tracker threads don't need invoices. It really needs to be only prices posted in then last few months as well, to be relevant.

@Chris F @Clive now as we’re in height of the spraying season I’ve been able to put farm compare to more of a real world test and one thing I’m finding a little frustrating is I can’t save a search even if it’s only for a day. I find If I’m searching for two or three products I have to screen shot the information to refer back too. There’s a lot of useful data on generic equivalents but once you do your next search you can’t reference back.

It’s only an idea but once you’ve upgraded a search would it be possible to keep the upgrade for say 24h? It’s helpful when someone come back with a price on a generic that I may not have noticed first time round.

Hope that make sense and sorry if this is a feature I’m missing somewhere.
Thanks

you can submit quotes yes but we treat it as unverified prices so you can only search other unverified prices

I've put in a few invoices to try it out and am impressed so far - seems like it will be a useful resource.

A couple questions though (let me know in each case if I'm missing something as its quite probable!) -

Once you've searched a product, you lose the ability to do so again once you've used up your searches (?). Couldn't it be the case that once you've inputted a certain product, you can go back and search it as many times as you like for a set period, to see if there are any newer prices or even if you've say forgotten a detail from the search results?
(edit - sorry, missed the fact that @Phil P has asked pretty much the same thing above)

A minor one, but would it be possible on the "your invoices" page, to have a list of "your price" for each product you've entered?

Also, if I add a price for a spray containing 50 g/l of active A, 100 g/l of B and 200 g/l of C, the only "equivalent products" shown are identical ones. Could there not be another list of "products containing one or more of the same actives" to allow comparison to any product containing either A, B or C, or at least the ability to search for prices of such products using the "search by active substance" tool?
