Just had a price for an IR twin beam system, 1 x pair of beams,
2 x transmitters (one to piggy back to the other due to distance from the IP beams to the house)
1 x Control panel in house & additional sounder nearer to bedroom

We will dig a short trench from the IP beams to the first transmitter, then its just plug & play, power points adjacent to all transmitters and control panel, how much should I be looking roughly, been quoted £925...

Can anyone recommend a website for this sort of thing? Looking to beef up security here after a threat that the police took seriously enough to visit us at 1.30 am to warn us about...

Yea had 6 beams fitted with a repeater, 3 dummies lights, a siren and a SIM card control panel for about £1000. It was through a local "stop that thief" campaign run between NFU and police. (Herefordshire)

Thanks, that sounds like a better system than the one I've been quoted for, only 2 beams, standard panel, no lights or sirens only alarm in the house, thought it was expensive, cheers.

I have had alarms for farms stuff and it lasts well. Most of my sensors are 15 years old and the indoor ones are still going strong
