So, went to Groundswell yesterday. I have to say, it was an inspirational few hours among some very switched on, like minded, open minded, friendly people!

There was so much knowledge to share, my mind was a little bit blown with all the info to take on board.

Allen Savoury and Charles Massy spoke eloquently and passionately. A real privilege to listen to them both, though I wonder if those who are new to Savoury’s thinking might have found his talk a bit left field to begin with.

Great to put some more faces to TFF names too!

All in all, well worth the 5hr trip up and back!

I've not dipped into this thread for a while, there was a fair bit to catch up on...

we have grown our little patch of spuds the same place for twenty years

I have heard growing mustard between the rows of spuds deters wireworm, as they can't smell the potatoes. Consequently I do this and never get wireworm, but I haven't run any controls to see if I'd get them otherwise. Just wondering if this would help with eelworm too, though I know very little about them.

There's a Japanese run farm in Wiltshire where I think I heard they grow the same crops in the same soil every year.

Edit: here we go: https://shumei.eu/yatesbury/. Quite 'out there'...
