Yeah, not too bad, thanks for asking. Got to the mid 20’s today. Made me smile listening to everyone complain about the “heat wave”!
You just HAD to choose the colder of the 2 days to attend @martian 's "Left Field Agriculture" event, didn't you?:ROFLMAO:

Small world syndrome again that, despite coming from Cornwall and returning from Australia to attend it you'd be old mates with James Williams (secretary of our buying group):D

At least you have 2 offers of local accomodation now for next year ;)

Ah yes, young Techno is a chum of old! Good old boy he is. Barking mad but good as gold!

Yeah, we couldn’t believe how cold it was. I nearly didn’t bring me coat. Good job I did! Nearly wore shorts. Good job I didn’t!

There was no beer in the fridge, have no idea where this came from. Am a little bit embarrassed to say that the fizzy wine was quite good

Big fan of bubbles / sparkling wines ( seeing as how we can't call it champers anymore ) as well as champagne :)
Whenever we go out to a function such as the theatre or an art gallery opening, I'll always opt for bubbles over beer

Sorry but I just don't "get" champagne. To me it has little flavour and I avoid it completely.

You're all welcome to my share.

Another 650 cow dairy will be gone from here by September. Farm has been sold to a cropper and they are selling most of the cows and moving to Cobden in the Victorian western district. Be lucky if theres any dairies left here in 12 months time.
Due to drought I'm assuming... can't like that.
Seems to be the story here in the states right now but because of financial droughts...incredible amount of dairies shut down in a 200 mile radius of me in the last 2 years....

Generally I find the cheap cheap stuff quite pleasant, and the more expensive stuff quite rank.

Was just trying to work out when I last had more than one brew in an evening and it was just over a year ago... one for me and one for the old man (y)

High feed costs. No irrigation water, no hope really. If the irrigators class action gets going I'm wondering what the chances are of launching a similar one for the irreparable damage done to the dairy industry here in the southern riverina by federal water policy....
