Farmer Roy's Random Thoughts - I never said it was easy.

What could go wrong? It will end up like the river further down where the irrigated cotton farmers completely fu,*ked the rivers with huge turkey nest dams and knocking every tree down in sight, causing the worst drought on record.

The farmers destroyed the north of nsw, may as well let the miners polish it off.

Its not like Roy will rush put and plant some trees on his cropping land to try and reverse the millions of acres they cleared and then drenched with chemical and introduced gentically modified plants...

Not the big bad mining company oh no he cries.....

Equally grim here and it’s mid summer....need to get that silage off that first field....end of the week a high pressure supposed to build in.
I don't think you'd be wanting silage off here. My neighbour's field has goosebumps from his deeprooted pasture floating up, this was cut for baleage in March and only grazed once since

Currently hailing little clattery hail and about -3° windchill - 5½ inches of rain in the past week

Had to pop out in the tractor today to unload some bales off a stuck truck, the folk with a lifestyle block in the village finally bought some baleage, their whole 8 ac is a sea of mud.
Needed 4wd to get up their driveway so I have no idea how they thought a truck was going to reverse up & tip off ?‍♂️

All proudly backed by Gunnedah shire. As it makes more money from mining than ag. Official figures from shire show.

Also if the emmisions are lumped on the Australian side, that means who ever is using should have zero emmisions from it, u cant count it twice.

Yes, to note the decrease in deaths from being hunted and torn apart by wild animals versus a sharp recent increase in type 2 diabetes.
It would be interesting to see a thorough assessment of the rates of deaths over that timescale from different causes. Car accidents kill millions each year these days!

I wonder just how many humans pre-modern "civilisation" did actually due at the hands of animals. I suspect they were pretty good at avoiding them except when hunting.

This should be today's biggest news story as it's impacts will dwarf Coronavirus in time.
