Dunno why people always go on about the high cost of food ( in various “discussions” about agricultural subsidies, some have told me that our food is much more expensive than in the UK - based on a few weeks holiday or backpacking ?? 
- & that’s why UK Ag needs subsidies to keep food affordable. Anyway, that’s another subject, but it’s a theme & comment that keeps getting thrown at me, Australian food is sooo much dearer than UK . . . ), all these ingredients were purchased from a large chain supermarket, cost less than $30, probs nearer to $20 ( a carton of beer is around $50 & a takeaway coffee is $5 ) & will feed the 3 of us for 2 nights.

I actually think that if crap food was more expensive folk would go up a brand to proper food/meat as less is more in the end.

I dunno how you lot can ever wear gumboots ( wellies ) all day every day.
I’ve been wearing them for about 2 hours in the morning since Saturday. I can’t wait to change back into my work boots each day.
After 2 days they’d worn the hair off my legs & left a red welt in my calves. By now, that welt is starting to callous . . .

yeah, I hate wearing them. Only reason I’m using them this week is because I’m doing early starts on toilets & it’s a bit cold to have wet feet all day

Dedito are waterproof, but also breathable.
I used to wear wellies but found the plain rubber very cold and the neoprene lined made my feet rot.
