Farmer Roy's Random Thoughts - I never said it was easy.

I’m not trying to portray you as anything, you’re the one that said you think pervy thoughts :ROFLMAO:

Exactly the problem. I did not say I thought pervy thoughts - you interpretted in the manner you wished.

I expressed a scenario of using a word you posted (as a form of banter) what the potential difference would be in what you obviously can get away with in Canada vs what could potentially happen if the same word was used in the UK.
Unfortunately, we in the UK are still so Victorian and not very liberal on the whole, especially if there is a way to claim.

I'm not a perv - I actually refrain from saying certain things, especially when talking to you :p
You refrain from saying certain things. Which means you’ve thought the certain things to refrain from saying them. And based on the topic of this conversation it’s not a large leap that those thoughts you refrain from saying are pervy.

Obviously you’re Victorian enough you don’t like being called a perv?

And I’m Canadian enough to fully admit to being one :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Again - your imagination appears biased and gets the better of you!

I actually refrain from certain things in life due to people's quite noticeable, and often incorrect perceived notion of what is being said or done at a point in time.

That, in essence; is a completely different scenario from actually being something you are accusing me of, which unfortunately seems to be the norm these days.
As for me being Victorian - far from it.

I will and do however; choose to step away from many things due to that kind of mindset though, and I will more than likely continue to do so the okder I get unless the culture in the UK changes (even on this forum to be frank), and possibly why I choose to live in a field away from towns and cities.

Enjoy (y)

PS: apologies Roy for going off on a tangent on your thread.
Will refrain from further digression.

I freely admit to being a perv. But I'm not Canadian?

Victorian attitudes

Makes one wonder if those from the state or city are offended at said implications?

Possibly whoever was right in saying so?

Who could say now, the commonwealth certainly didn't hang around waiting forever to see.

Having a moan is cost effective but that is the limit of its effectiveness, I don't mind having my decision to adopt a very low-input system criticised by anyone, as my reasons are relevant - I can back up the "why".
I'm also not going to attempt to shift blame for my failures on Roger Douglas, Maggie Thatcher, my current weather, or tyrannosaurus rex... my failures are my own, as that's what I can learn from - I don't believe in "the best of 9 attempts" or someone kissing it better for me

I do feel close to sympathy for the slower learners, with delusions of adequacy, but they aren't British sheep farmers, they are everywhere and in every job - and can be trained to be adequate employees with a bit of patience.

My point is, some of them are training themselves to be just that. Adequate.
Yes ,and it makes for an interesting read. (y)
keeping the (good enough) positive cashflow is the hardest bit ,same as in high input,..i find.

Maggie Thatcher ? ...... oh yeah, i remember.... Denis 's wife ...

and T.Rex with Brilliant Marc Bolan

but who the feck was Roger Douglas :scratchhead:.

Marc Bolan (y) now there's a thing to tear me away from my book a minute!
I do like "Ride a White Swan"

Roger Douglas is one of those things you are best to step around
