I was speaking to him this morning, he's fine, he's put a few vids up recently but PooTube is going through a phase of pushing other videos/subjects that they want you to watch rather than what you want to watch (according to them, breast feeding and twerking is high on their lists of priorities)

The constant ads and shorts and insistence of 10+ minute videos is trashing the platform in my view though my use these days is limited and I am not paying for any of it so I'm hardly representative of their average user.

I was told the same thing yesterday.
As creators we were able to choose to have ads, choose where they went and choose if you could skip them.
Not now.
A few weeks back YouTube informed us that they would now choose where the ads went and what type.
Since then all I've seen are ads longer than the bloody video with 'Your video will start soon'. They will be charging the advertisers more and overall YouTube are paying less.

Watching wardys last week, within 3 mins ad came on, Red Tractor! bit of sponsorship there for him, I msgd him and told him jokingly, don’t think he was to happy about the choice of ad!

Two ways. The content creator can chose to not profit from their work, or the viewer can pay for YouTube premium.

That clip you posted earlier certainly rings true about YouTube now trying to wring every penny from all areas as I've always said if any other business was run in such a p*ss poor manner, they'd be out of business within 6 months.

Olly the wally not put any up for a while. Must be too busy!! Or I've been excluded from seeing them! It's a farming life for me the same not seen any vids. Either I'm not getting to see them od you tube is selecting what I see
