Farmers earn more from YouTube than their crops

But this is the sort of place you can talk about it as I'm sure most of us at least understand where you're coming from.
Failing that send a message - I'm always happy to listen if you want to get something off your chest - let's face it, I have to listen to Saunders...
i think most of us would be happy with a PM from the likes of @Richard Smyth for a informal chat (y)

im improving. My issue is not an easily solved one and has been simmering for a very long time. It’s very strange going from working all hrs day and night to not being able to leave the house for a week.
Talking it over with some trusted people and started counselling so will see what happens.

Edit. I don’t believe I could ever take my own life but the mind works in strange ways
Talking is important for mental health, we often don’t realise that. Hope you get better.

Great that you are doing better @Richard Smyth , people with mental problems always have a place in my prayers.
I am not trying to be a dick, just have my own personal problems and a different way of coping I suppose.
You where being a dick, just another internet troll that we have to put up with, bet you wouldn’t tell me to go kill myself in the pub because I said the world population is growing to fast.

both wrong, I didn't tell you to kill yourself, and you didn't say that the world population is gowing to fast.
Your words where "People breeding and living longer is the problem", my words where "start by not having offspring and remove yourself from the earth", which is step to solving your problem.
No, I don't want you killing yourself, I want nobody killing themselves. My words could be interpreted as me being a dick just as much as yours, targeting one person instead of the entire world, which is worse?
Back to your concerns, breeding is going way, way down. the world average is 2.1 child per woman which is spot on the replacement rate. Britains replacement rate is 1.75 or 1.6 depending on the source.

I think the world population has grown to fast to support its self, due to breeding and people living longer. Also saying I should remove my self from the earth would translate to “go kill yourself”, imagine if some pr*ck on the internet said that to your kids then they did.

Wow that’s the most notifications I’ve ever woken up to. Thankyou all it means a lot and you never know I may send a pm at some time.
It is good to know even though I’ve never met any of you and probably never will but there is still friendship there.
Hopefully I’m finding my path through it but yesterdays post just set me off I guess
Good luck Richard. I’m sure you will beat it. Obviously I don’t know your story, but getting to know how my mind works helped me and also once I realised that no matter how deep and dark the hole I was in, there was always a glimmer of light.

the glimmer of light is there. I’m working on a plan. Whether I have the mental strength to see it through remains to be seen.

This is about youtube remember
Derrick, these people watch YouTube, I and the others create content in order to inform, educate or simply to take away the stress of the working day, the subject matter, content etc are irrelevant - the sense of community is what it's about and so if someone wants to talk about stress, that's fine, it's just another subject to include in another video or Instagram post.

Let's just chalk it down to unfamiliarity with the nuances of what is presumably @Gerbert 's second language. I'm sure he's not evil, just a bit ill judged on the matter.

More of interest to me - Olly said the other night that TFF was (like twitter) becoming an unpleasant place to be (I forget the exact words, and CBA going back to listen again).

Thoughts? Can the collective try and prove him wrong this festive period? I must say I've not posted so little in years, mainly because I was thinking similar.

He said it was becoming quite an angry place. I was on twitter for a year or two and this place is nothing like that septic tank. There’s a bit of current aggro around RT/NFU/BFU, perhaps that’s what he was alluding to.

Personally this has been one of the hardest, most frustrating years farming I’ve had, and there’ll be plenty others in the same boat. Patience and nerves are worn thin and perhaps exchanges aren’t as convivial as this time last year when winter crop was all nicely rowed up in October, but such is life, throw in some emotive topics and there will be a bit of fireworks.

Twitter is horrible, TFF is generally quite polite even in sticky times.
