Yes a day is good or even longer,
But it does work on contact ,so if you cultivate, it should still kill it . Not the best way, but if you are up against it ,you will just crack on with the job ,
You need money in the bank at the end of the year.

It’s been on market for 50 years+ so it would’ve been used in this situation, a good many times by farmers .
Jesus id rather not buy the quadtrack and top down and leave the seed in the shed than maul it in like that

Good video, a man that's worked hard to get to where they are at which in this day and age of farming can be hard and nice to see. kit envy as well 😍 struggling to see whats wrong with the slurry work?

That dribble bar work on that stubble. It's laid on that hard it's just a lake on top. Fair enough it was a level flat field but still.

It’s overdone though , there’s another big dairy farm locally that blacks it on until the field is awash with slurry and shining like a lake. Can’t be good for anything other than emptying the lagoon.
not commenting on your neighbour up the lane, it's catch 22. have nvz area's which in turn means everyone's at full capacity so then given the chance flood a field, probably not stirred and is mainly dirty water. if the field isn't under water, not running off and no ditches for it to enter and is being incorporated and giving the farmer some room for storage then i don't see a problem. be more of a problem when it's over flowing out the tower/lagoon. you would be commenting saying he should of spread some on a field to prevent it happening 🤷

It is a good video. I like the ones that go deeper into the actual business.

But....that dribble bar pumping. And they wonder why Wales had been put in a country wide NVZ. 🤦

How the heck can you be shown on film putting on slurry like that. Jebus wept. :X3: If it was being injected I'd have less of an issue but heck man, that field was to the point of run off.

His name is Andy he is good at replying to questions. The farm seems to be going through a lot of changes converting barns onto house. His dad worked on same farm/estate and his brother used to work on next door one
Looks a hell of a place and everything is immaculate. Proper credit to them 👍
