Never seen a forager working in my area although i do know where there is a jf 900 in a shed. Not many foragers built anywhere else in the world these daysYes,buying European foragers to chop grass seems to be the way ahead,just like we have been doing for the last 40 years

I believe the only farm around here that had one only ran it for a few years as they had to set roads up through the fields as the only roads they could fit it on were the dual carriageway and the main road where it took up 3ft of the lane with oncoming trafficYouTube paying the hp on a quadtac!. People round here are all going away from them now back to 300 hp wheeled tractor that are more versatile. 5500 acres here in one block and they found it a nightmare to get anywhere.

The roads are all wide round Olly's farm so should be fine.
Imagine the amount of mud it will trail onto road when it leaves field. Need the Solis ready

we’ve been using gps autosteer for 20 years here. Vra and section control as long.
camera technology for sprayers for almost as long. Think there is a few things we’ve been a long way ahead of you guys.

Drove one in Essex in late 90s, during one move we encountered some roadworks which I couldn’t fit thru. Boss got out, moves cones and signals in a very irate manner to mount the bloody verge and get on. Which I did and completely levelled a freshly sculpted roadside verge as the council guys looked on in bewilderment before turning to anger. 🫣

Plenty of people of all nationalities working on farms. Guys and girls.
this is a very progressive country when it comes to tech and new ideas. It’s a tough climate so if people don’t embrace new ideas they won’t stick it.
I couldn’t care less about Au or NZ farming .

Locals don't want to work long hours I was told when I worked there . Needed away early for hobbies and kids, which is fair enough.
Backpackers of all nationalities were just there to work and earn money. Which is why they preferred us
