Monday

As we at metjeffuk have been warning you of the severe weather ahead, and now that Siberian air as arrived.
Monday starts off with Bitter easterly winds, strongest in southern areas. Snow flurries coming in from the North Sea into eastern regions, spreading inland toward the Pennines, perhaps also reaching the Midlands. With snow shower streamers getting set up around coasts of Kent and Sussex. Some of the snow may well become increasingly persistent in some areas. It will be generally cloudy. Best of the Sunshine in the west. Highs around 3C/37F but with a high wind chill making it feel like -10C

Overnight

Snow is expected to become more organised and persistent across east & north-east England and eastern Scotland during the night, turning heavier. More snow shower streamers toward south-east England may give local persistent falls for Kent and Sussex. Snow is likely to spread further inland into central-northern England. Western areas generally dry with some clear skies except west Cornwall hear heavy snow showers will persist. Low of -6C/21F
Severe weather ahead.

So a very wintry spell over the next 5 days if you have livestock you would be advised to shed them especially Wednesday to Friday as we are expecting a blizzard with severe drifting more on this though the week at metjeffuk.com

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
