I was recently in The Showgrounds Shopping Centre, Clonmel Co Tipperary. It was built on the site of you've guessed it , the Showgrounds . Just inside the entrance there are some big photos of various scenes fro m times past. These 3 are the machinery scenes. I imagine from around 66 or 67 ?

Top one looks just like my MF400 combine, which is a (UK) C Reg-1965.

Looks like dealers sold cars as well as agricultural equipment in those days.

I don't know if these pics were all taken the same year , or different years.
White David Brown's started in 1965 , I think ? Safety cabs on a Brown in another pic would 1970 or 71 ? The car in the background is I think a Fiat 1500. There is a sign for "Sherrard" just visible at the top. Sherrard were John Deere importersfor 20 and 30 series and early 40 series. They went out of business in either 80 or 81.
At that time every farm had a fair complement of various machines. Tractor for under a grand. Now a lot of them are 100 grand....
