Sent my claim in the other day. it came back next day because I had sent it from another email address they hadn't seen before. Tried again with a different address and so far so good. It said they aim to pay within 30 days.

A question for you all.
Does anyone know how it would affect a claim if one portion of three different categories applied for, couldn’t be fulfilled due to delivery times affecting completion??!!
Could you just scale back to the two sections without penalty or is it black and white and a non compliance as you might say, thus losing all three categories grant?
I suppose a call to them is in order

We have just taken delivery of the weigh bars for FETF79 and have got the bars in the link below. I have a feeling I might have cocked up and got the wrong ones because they don’t state as heavy duty. Unfortunately I took more notice of the weight when looking at options than the HD. Has anyone else got these through the grant?

No one answer ?
Ive no idea but proper heavy working crush would need as much HD as available ? ask the supplier if they can get the HD ones and send those back .??asap.
Weighbars need to be strong as they are down under getting a good jarring.

ive Got a 3 tonne pair under a sheep weigh crate . bit over the top but they are accurate and reliable will last a few yrs hopefully, not trutest tho mind.

We have applied for an extension till Jan 31st 2023 because the Inverter we ordered in July might not be here for another 3 - 4 months

Have you heard back from them, have applied myself and spoke to them on Friday. They have received my email and said they should be no problem but don’t have anything in writing, they said they are snowed under with people applying for extensions

No , the lady seemed to say dont delay with the letter , and not to apply for any other sections of the grant (which was a bit odd at first) because they treat the whole claim as one !!
In other words ,they would pay out at one time only ,which was not what someone else led me to believe !
The other 2 things we applied for have been done and dusted a few months ago ,so a I am wary of losing that grant on those 2 , because of the failiure of the remaining one !
Must ring to confirm it ,because I honestly would have looked harder for a second hand inverter ,and knocked the one section off -hey ho

They raised all sorts of queries with my claim. Couldn’t accept credit card payment for one item, wanted photos of serial numbers on auto steering (which wasn’t visible), wouldn’t accept my new email address. I really thought that I wasn’t going to be paid. After much back and forth I finally got my claim through. They approved it and then payment came after about a week.
They make things so complicated that they get bogged down with admin.
Strange how nit picking the government are with some things and yet they wasted billions on covid grants to businesses which didn’t even exist.

I’m interested in that too.
Our claim will be 30 working days old tomorrow. All OK when I phoned two weeks ago, and passed to Final checks.
I was asked to phone again if not in the bank by this week. 🙄😂
Phone lines are jammed.

I managed to get through this morning at 8.45 am. Spoke to a pleasant person, who agreed to elbow this along, as the '30 working days' payment window had now expired.

email this afternoon, payment on its way, within 14 days.
so gov.uk creative accounting adds 14 to the original 30 day window?
But at least it's cleared the hurdles. And there were many. :scratchhead:

Mine was queried because I claimed for a vogelsang trailing shoe and the pictures showed the joskin on the side of the tanker

It's because you aren't related to, or a friend of a government minister.

Silly question but - we were waiting for an inverter for a vacuum pump ,and its on the grant section as I mentioned above somewhere !!
The grant is for a variable speed drive (inverter essentially) but if you are single phase and need a three phase motor to allow the inverter to work ,is that included in the grant application or just the inverter (VOD)
Have been told it would only be on the inverter itself ,but that wouldnt allow you to use that on your existing single phase electric motor !
So VOD complete with capable motor or just the Inverter??

I am confused
