WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST
==========================
Issued: 1130hrs, Friday 26th May 2023

SATURDAY
=========
High pressure dominates the weather of the British Isles again on Saturday. A weak cold front will be pushing south through Scotland and into Northern Ireland.
The front brings some cloud to Scotland and Northern Ireland in the morning, some spots of rain too along northern coasts and hills of Scotland. This fades into the afternoon with the front nothing more than a band of cloud in southern Scotland and Northern Ireland by evening.
Elsewhere there will be some morning mist and fog patches in well sheltered areas, but overall it is going to be a fair morning with sunny spells. Little change in the afternoon with good spells of sunshine. Sea breezes affecting eastern and western coasts, although the breeze too strong for these in the south.
Winds NE 20-25kt (F6) along southern coasts, stronger in the English Channel. W 18-23kt (F5-F6) in the far north of Scotland. Mainly W 15-18kt (F4-F5) for other areas although variable in sea breezes.

HOLIDAY MONDAY
===============
Pressure stays high through Holiday Monday and will be in control of the weather across the UK and Ireland.
Cloud is likely to be broken throughout the day with sunny spells.
Plates of cloud may well drift in from the east from time to time, this giving cloudy skies briefly, then this cloud breaking with bright or sunny spells developing.
Winds E-NE 20-25kt (F6) in the south, variable 10-12kt (F3) in Scotland, NE 14-18kt (F5) in northern England and Northern Ireland.
