Ok back to being serious, I wonder if any conventional farmers i.e non-organic, are farming without using glyphosate on a small area of their farm, whether they are using the traditional plough , min -till ,or zero till way of establishing their crops, to learn how to farm should Glyphosate be banned .
I am only a country bumpkin, but I wonder how much the original Monsanto “glyphosate molecular structure” would have to be changed so that it could be classed as a different chemical, but do the same as Glyphosate, their by Monsanto making a very nice financial reward??

Can't help answer your question @MX7 , but farmers would have had a right going on this harvest if we couldn't have used glyphosate to even up the spring barley.

Either lots of drying fuel used or grains on the floor waiting for the second growth to get fit. And podsibly some broken machinery and wet straw to deal with as well.

I entirely agree , please don’t think I am anti glyphosate.
It was the answer to “Couch” on the Cotswolds, it also helped get rid of “Onion Couch” but that is a hellish weed to control due to its “bulbous characteristics”.
Long live glyphosate.
I am only interested in the situation should the establishment ban it!!!
I am now retired from farming so it doesn’t effect me but just thinking of those of you who are farming.
