Nobody gonna mention Broke back mountain?? I’m sure it had some sheep farming theme as well as errr other stuff.

There were a lot of good riders in that film - especially whoever went down the hillside. My place was not that steep, but the one next door had some almost as bad. I only helped muster it twice (about 4500 acres I think) but it was exhilarating to say the least. Doing cattle work on horseback is extremely satisfying.

I lived around the Snowies for the last couple of years I was in Australia, and I remember seeing a documentary about the making of the film. There was a young female wrangler who did some of the "double" riding, although I do not remember if she rode down the mountain. Do you know? I do remember that one of the horses took a big bite out of her leg.
