Just for interest really, and to see if I'm the only sad one with favourite tools.

What's your favourite tool or bit of kit?

To start off with, I have this Franklin 1/4drive socket set. I bought it in a hurry one day to repair an alternator and I grudged the price like hell.
But what a handy godsend of a set it's been. Used all the time and it could well be my favourite bit of kit. Devastated when I drove over the box, but space heater and patience saved it.

Teng 12 inch adjustable spanner... Because although it cost over twice as much as the triple pack of shite Chinese wrenches... it is a go-to spanner rather than a 'last resort when nothing else fits'.

Edit: And I think all the Chinese ones broke.

18v Makita multi tool has been a real get out of jail cutting tool a couple of times recently, sometimes nothing else quite fits.
But surely a cordless impact driver must be the biggest transformation in maintenance tasks...

My 10mm Britool combination spanner - just feels so good in your hand. It's one of a full set. They're all nice to use, but the 10mm is a 'peach'

I have a set of Britool spanners and I do like them

Snap on cordless impact gun

Milwaukee here, it is a favourite

Teng 1/4 ratchet set, box includes screwdriver and Allen bits.

It’s my ‘go to’ box.

That little Franklin set is the same, its a must have at near all jobs.

Pleased to see that I'm not the only one with particular favourites in the tool box too.!!!

My no.4 copper hammers, one on a short handle, one on a 3/4 sledge handle. I had a look to see what they'd cost to replace recently, and I think it was close to £100 each (n)

Also a 10" Bahco adjustable spanner. With the assistance of a screwdriver and a small punch, you can pretty much keep a Hesston baler going with one!
