Good afternoon ladies and Gents,

I hope some of you may be able to give a genuine opinion on an idea. Would the farming community find an independent un bias trading consultancy valuable. The consultancy would be made up of experts in currency, commodity straights, grain and livestock. The aim would be to provide an unbias view on the markets to try and aid in the purchasing and sales of the aforementioned farm requirements.

The purpose would be to provide an independent view on when to buy feed, sell farm produce, track livestock sale prices/which areas of the country are fetching better prices etc. As well as providing a view on the markets the consultancy would aim to arm customers with questions to approach merchants with etc.

Any opinions very welcome.

Possibly. On the farm purchasing side, how would you differentiate yourselves from a buying group like Anglia Farmers, Fram Farmers etc? Just an educated view on what commodities are good value and the best way to buy them?

Thanks for your reply,

The consultants would have an unbias independent approach to the market as they are not making anything from tonnes sold/bought. And yes the range of expert consultants would allow a holistic picture of what is likely to happen on the U.K./world markets and tie that in with currency to identify buying/selling opportunities.
