feed shed height - straights

how high does a straights shed need to be to tip an artic bulker. I don't mean completely inside but enough to tip the artic and leave all material undercover and in shed.

It depends what you're tipping. Feed like Sugar Beet Pulp or Rapeseed oil are dry, but sticky so you really need to tip to full height - maybe 40ft. I've seen quite a few sheds that use an idea like a truck rollover sheet for the roof, so you roll it back to tip.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
