Feeder wagon display faulty

Hi, any one seen this before, the feeder wagon display has gone dark, still works ok just a bit hard to see figures. Its dark even when the feeder is off. The problem comes and goes but is getting worse. Is there a fix for it or just a matter of getting a new display? Thanks

If you disconnect the cables you simply push the display box upwards and it comes off the back box,take it inside and leave it on a radiator overnight.
