Feeding cabbage to ewes?

Thanks for all the replies, think I am going to leave it though. By the time I get it in its nearly 40 quid a ton. Plus don't really want to change ewe diet so close to lambing and worried that I need to use a lot more bedding for ewes inside if the dung runs out them.

Thanks very much, haven't got a clue, back to you. :D

I can only think the OP has been offered horticultural type cabbages Savoy etcetera as there does seem to be a glut this year but you've got me on the 'Cow Cabbage'. :scratchhead:
Can you google it then it does come up, it was big in the 60ts 70ts , last seed I bought would be 10 years ago

Thanks FT,
May try a corner of the field with some and see how they last a winter up here. Grew 1 row of kale with 3 rows of swede this last year and the ewes dive in for the kale when i make a new break. Thinking there would be more bulk with cabbage.
