Good tractors, generally reliable, check there is no water in the oil or gunk under the oil cap. The o rings on the bottom of liners can fail over time, not particularly expensive but time consuming to fix, brakes are another weak ish point, dry discs and disc and pads on four wheel drive shaft. Only niggle I have with mine is they don't have a lot of hydraulic oil so you can struggle tipping big trailers. Wouldn't swap mine though.

Ok shall look at that. Oil capacity may be an issue as one of its jobs will be pulling a 18 ton trailer with front mounted top ram.
Apparently it is on low hours so think I'll get to see it.
Would like a 716 but non at decent money about.

If it's a single ram you'll probably be OK, mine won't tip big trailers with twin 3 stage rams, but don't have an issue with one big five stage.

If it's in good condition you can't go wrong really, have just had 4 wheel drive clutch plates done which made me wince a bit but overall it's a pleasure to use.

Not intensive use on the trailer. Just moving seed and fert around at seeding and occasional use rest of year. Main jobs is the trailer, 5000 litre sprayer, forklift on front linkage to shift stuff,

Have a 927 which does everything now. Just looking at this to use on sprayer when big tractor is seeding.

Probably only do 200 hrs yr

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
