It's not that obvious. On the setup for the implement there are a few boxes to fill in. If you look at photo of mine you should be able to put in the working width (mine is greyed out because it's using iso bus at the mo) the centre distance box is the offset. If you want to move to the right increase the figure. Move to the left decrease it.

The green steering wheel box is the distance to the wheels on your implement and the other box is the point where you want things turned off/on. Drill counters etc.

Hope this helps

It's on a 720 but should be the same. Older software varies but is the same principle

I thought offset would be obvious if the "centre distance" does not match half the "working width". I wonder why does it have to be defined this way.

Then again, "the distance to the wheels" is not obvious to me. An old manual clearly illustrates distance being measured from the centre of the rear axle while the latest manual I've seen explains it is from the lower link hooks (which is more or less equal to the wheels). Did I interpret the old manual incorrectly or have they really changed the way this distance is defined?

I think you are right and the distance from tractor to implement has been changed. Not near my tractor at the moment but I think on the latest software I have there may be an option of where to measure from.

It would be much more simple if it said "offset" on the screen.

Can't check for certain right now, but I suspect you are both right and the way it's described has actually changed.
