I am looking at buying an earth scoop locally which is advertised as a Ferguson earth scoop. But on closer inspection of the pictures I have noticed the serial number plate is ‘Massey-ferguson’ any one know if in fact Massey Ferguson made earth scoops? How many they made or what the difference was?

A quick google and I can’t find and Massey Ferguson earth scoops?

Thanks Huw

Understood but why would it have a Massey Ferguson serial number plate not a Ferguson?
presumably it was sold after the Massey take over, many of the old grey Fergies actually have Massey Harris Ferguson plates on them. These types of scoops if I remember correctly were commonly sold until the 70's

Post up a picture and I will see if its any different to my fergie one. From memory the MF one is squarer and does not have the break top link.

Here some pictures.
