Would rather see nitram at £215 and wheat at £160 rather than nitram at £180 and wheat at £130. More margin in wheat as costs but fert , spray and chem fixed year to year . Gonna cost us roughly £8-10 /ac more in nitrogen . Wheat drops should of sold some forward !!!! fert goes up should of bought !!!! High and lows are for fools wise men trade in the middle . Keeps us happy keeps the bank happy .

I'd have rather had a call a month ago when urea was £220 to be honest, not a sucker call this week telling me I missed the boat!
Is there likely to be any Piamon about at competitive money? I have about had enough of Urea Sulphur blends, but will buy them rather than be forked over for DoubleTop.

Always say I have a lot more wheat to sell than fert to buy! Hopefully! OSR price is pessing me off mind!

seems like some aren't quoting prices for autumn/winter delivery, June/July delivery is easy to get, I wonder if that means they think its going to the moon

Wheat price has been creeping up all over the world and may continue it’s rise. More will be planted and urea will be in demand and become short. Price will go up and fertiliser boys will see an opportunity to increase AN prices citing any number of cost increases to justify it. It has happened before. On the other hand wheat might go down?
Of course the chemical boys wouldn’t dream of doing such a thing!
