Always say I have a lot more wheat to sell than fert to buy! Hopefully! OSR price is pessing me off mind!Would rather see nitram at £215 and wheat at £160 rather than nitram at £180 and wheat at £130. More margin in wheat as costs but fert , spray and chem fixed year to year . Gonna cost us roughly £8-10 /ac more in nitrogen . Wheat drops should of sold some forward !!!! fert goes up should of bought !!!! High and lows are for fools wise men trade in the middle . Keeps us happy keeps the bank happy .
But it wont happen, it hasn't for the last 30 odd years. The answer to the AN pricing game is for farmers to stop playing along. Let the line in the sand be drawn NOW, if the order book is not filled they will drop the price, guaranteed.
