Anyone using SOP? How much extra over MOP and is it worth the extra spend?

MOP is potassium chloride, a salt. SOP is far kinder to soil life and a great source of sulphur. Whether or not it's worth it depends on the pricing which I can't help you with.

I think SOP is roughly twice the price of MOP.
Other than for use in specialist crops with a very low tolerance to CL I dont know why it would be use, polysulphate/polyhalite would do the same albeit it with less K

Energy-oil-minerals stock share prices have dropped nearly 20% since the spread of corona if I read properly , some say I don’t! , so question is will fret drop sooner rather than later or will the drop in oil consumption restrict fert coming onto the market

Could do but what if the boats are stopped from coming over or deliveries are held up? Fert has dropped from last yr so im happyish and bought mine.
