Funny how
yup

it's got very little to do with supporting local agriculture; more to do with getting the best return for their business

something, I assume, that you might have in common? Or are you a registered charity?

However, as @Southwestmassive succinctly mentioned above, the UK price is approximately €70/mt cheaper than the equivalent farm delivered price Yara had in France; I suppose you could call that "supporting the UK farmer" after all?

Personally, I'm surprised that anyone would pay a 10-15% premium for nitrogen when they could buy Urea instead

Each to their own, I guess.
are the French govt paying yara to produce co2?

We use 4 - 5 load a year
Have some left from this year to carry over
I bought three load yesterday

reasoning:-
There are far to many unknowns floating about
The product is available now and we have storage and the November payment date
50% BPS should have come in and I’ll sell 4 load of wheat forward to pay for it

we can them manage if it becomes scarce or more expensive
I could buy another load if it gets cheaper

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
