That’s cheap for AN, with gas where it is today and into Q4 prices should be £1200+. CF have withdrawn terms.
Urea all the way……….until that gets tight when the whole of Europe switch’s to Urea from AN and CAN.
Energies need to drop especially gas, only way that happens is they (zgermans and the frogs) throws the Ukraine under the 🚌 or the EU implodes.
Either way the little Russian fellow gets what he wants.
current logistics situation is creaking at the seams; only gets worse when every kilo will need coating with an inhibitor locally sooner or later

must be nuts to pay £875 for AN of any origin compared to Urea today

Our urea turned up today. First time in a very long time using Urea.
Been plenty coming out of Ipswich according to the driver. Season started earlier than normal for deliveries. According to him. Normally on the fert job from Sept onwards. He started this year in June.

this is ayrshire, we dont get roasting, just rain

so for silage, do you put on the same units, the same length of time before cutting?
The grass is a bit different too imo. Grows stronger and stands up to weather better with urea. AN makes it grow so quick it sometimes ends up slicked to the floor especially later on in the year but urea seems to make it grow steadier and stand up for itself.
