230 euro for urea is cheap as chips in the current market, it traded FOB in Eygpt at $283 last week. Which is about 244 euro, got to buy it, then got to get it here, unload it, store it, bag it, accept some store losses, haul it to farm, wait for the money, and take a margin.

I get your point, but doesn’t the company selling urea into Lithuania have to do all that too, albeit with a different haulage cost? Presumable that merchant isn’t doing it out of charity either.

no idea why they are still at that price, they must have had some left over from last year perhaps and want a clear out, that price is well below replacement cost.

Is KAN worth the extra money
We manage to spread it ok, can get straight 46% at £30t cheaper though

£30/t!!? V. Expensive, I tried it once and don't see the appeal. Straight gran urea works perfect if it's good quality stuff, if it was £5-£10/t more i might use it to get my local man down a bit
From what I've been told also it costs them pennies to apply it o_O
