January 2019 delivery, full 28.2 load 600 kg bags
I've had several calls over the last week or so all with the same lines of "get it booked it's going up tomorrow" or the 11.50 call saying "books close at midday I've only got a limited tonnage left at this price" etc.I find it all a big farce and the more they do it the more it makes me adament I'm not buying.
I had a very good chance meeting with an industry experts today , he's someone with vast knowledge and no vested interest in selling anything and he's sure that the CF price has started to high and that it can't rise much and it will probably come down as the season progresses. He also said urea will be back to nearer the 200 mark later in the season.
I remain sceptical but time will tell!!!!

Most years the price low point was in June & the highest was in March/April. Other than the odd exceptional year like 2015/16 and after the stupid price spike in 2008 that was crashed by cheap urea in early 2009, this is usually the case. Therefore, I'm glad I got my orders priced as soon as the season opened and will continue to do so!!
