Just watch liquid digestate it can make the straw very soft and it falls over easilyCould be either. Fed up with the malting job so might just push it for more feed.

Just following the gas price!!!I was disappointed with amount of N available from digestate this year. Perhaps it was just the cold spring. Worth it for P & K though.
Never realised there now charging for it!
Jumping on the Fert price probablyDo they not produce gas?
Especially when hes selling strawHaha , what about when you sell it's always to low
Even wheat already planted on marginal owned land, what price do imports hit before its better to just leave it and start again in the spring. Lot if setups are planting wheat relatively cheap per acre now so not a huge huge commitment yetDepends if they have already planted their wheat and osr....

Not with what some of the veg/maize/spud boys are paying in some areas to take land on in the spring..... if you can cope with someone else farming your landThat point doesn't exist. Better with a crop of winter wheat.
Well around us the growers seem to be putting spuds maize and veg on any old poor land they can get thier hands on that isnt even well suited for cereals. But then yes you risk a mess on your land with harvestSorry, you said marginal owned land. I didn't assume that veg or potatoes would be an option.
As long as you've got your weed control rightThat point doesn't exist. Better with a crop of winter wheat.
TSP at £530 ishWhat’s Phosphorus at?
Can you explain how you worked out the n cost?68p a kg doesn't sound too bad
Will there be spare crop to import ? How many ha will just be left fallow if N prices don't drop?Even wheat already planted on marginal owned land, what price do imports hit before its better to just leave it and start again in the spring.
