New spreader, not sure why there’s a difference?

Terrible roads, Between 10 and 14 mile round trip but not an especially high fert rate and I do have a lovely green tractor with air cab suspension…..

Have you been pressing the auto cal button sometimes?
to be fair within 300 of theoretical is good. I aim for about 5%. The calibration factor varies massively through the day I’ve found.

Yesterday was first day with it, replaced a 20 year old one with no weigh cells or anything, but with the price of fert now we decided we needed a bit more accuracy!

0.12.12, and it’s very scarce apparently. Cancelled ours this year as indices are high and we thought we would have a p/k holiday but I am kind of wishing I had just let it come and kept it for next year.

Normally not much over 100 so thought it looked dear. 5k for a wagon of hen s**t, but the job has gone mental ever since.

When you see the heap out of the lorry is never looks much for the money. First load I saw I was expecting twice as big a heap.

Sure it does plenty of good though.

The first 70 meters got way more than it should have done and only spreading on one side and this was after a spring service. Fiddled and farted engineer called he fiddled as well then all of a sudden a statement from him asking how long had we thought our spreader didn't need the speed sensor plugged in, instantly work another lesson. Accuracy to target over 99%

I was thinking the same to take a holiday but how long will it be for p and k prices are back to some sort of sensible price. It’s not expensive at that.

1000 quid urea values 34.5 at 750 a ton

£1010 Urea = £757AN Kg for Kg of N and that was protected urea. You'd have to really really hate Urea with a passion to chose the AN on those prices. I don't like either of them!

Well said! I don't see how anyone can consider protected urea the environmentally friendly option compared to standard urea.
