I changed the o ring around the hydraulic head of the bosch va4 rotary injection pump. It ended up almost disasebling the entire pump. I assembled after a procedure i found on the internet. When i tried to start, it shot up to well over 3000rpm right away. The stop dis not do anything, so I tried letting out the clutch in 4th gear and it barely killed it. So i am thinking that i got the stop and acellerator taps mounted wrong meaning that minimum revs on the pedal is full and maybe maximum on pedal is minimum on pump? So would it be a posibillity that i only need to rotate the regulators/levers?
Please tell me your experiences after rebuilding your va4 and different problems you have faced, how you have installed the rpm regulating assembly. Thank you
I have a picture of the rpm regulator under here. Say your thougths and maybes, they might be just what i need.
