Think c2 got reduced to 75% as there's none better, at least not grown as seed crop.


Heard earlier that a large farmer owned co-op could only source 5t of winter bean seed.

In a normal year min germ is 80%, this year a derogation has been approved where applied for by the seed producer down to 70%. Spring beans are still awaiting their derogation decision and will probably need it more than the winters looking at some of the samples I’ve seen!

I broadcast mine on, out of the shed at 300 kg/ha, home germination was 83%, and every single one is growing it would seem, which is good for me and my crows.
