Did the gearboxes, final drives etc put up with or did they wear out in no time?
Someone I know has a wheeled series2, Had it behind my DB880 trying to tow start it, bugger me when he let the clutch out it would stop my tractor dead, amazing compression from it!
A guy I work for's grandfather had a marshall for driving a thrashing drum. He remembers the scrap men cutting it up in the late sixties and remembers the inside of the back end looking like the day it was made as it came apart....

Is there one up Aberaeron-Ciliau Aeron area this weekend? Think I heard about it on Geraint Lloyd's Radio programme on Radio Cymry. Programme starts 10 pm, he's bound to mention it tonight.

Maybe @Cowabunga might know ?
I'm afraid I don't. There was one from Felinfach a couple or three weeks ago. I didn't go but one of my tractors did.
That being the case, I doubt that there's another one in that same area so soon.

As Ioan mentioned Geraint Lloyd, he might like to know that his daughter was among a crew filming here today. I was carting slurry so apart from catching me having a cup of coffee at lunchtime, I was not involved. Nice friendly crew and it turned out that my wife had taught one of them in primary school.
