A guy I work for's grandfather had a marshall for driving a thrashing drum. He remembers the scrap men cutting it up in the late sixties and remembers the inside of the back end looking like the day it was made as it came apart....Did the gearboxes, final drives etc put up with or did they wear out in no time?
Someone I know has a wheeled series2, Had it behind my DB880 trying to tow start it, bugger me when he let the clutch out it would stop my tractor dead, amazing compression from it!

Maybe @Cowabunga might know ?Is there one up Aberaeron-Ciliau Aeron area this weekend? Think I heard about it on Geraint Lloyd's Radio programme on Radio Cymry. Programme starts 10 pm, he's bound to mention it tonight.
I'm afraid I don't. There was one from Felinfach a couple or three weeks ago. I didn't go but one of my tractors did.Maybe @Cowabunga might know ?
Check it out before going. That one is usually limited to 100hp for some reason. Not sure if that rule still applies.Tractor run Sunday 10.30 at Llangwyrfon according to Geraint Lloyd.
