Filling a slurry tower

Would a lay flat umbilical pipe be suitable to fill a slurry tower from a distance of 30 metres from a below ground store? or would a plastic pipe dug into the ground be better? We are probably looking at pumping it up once a month in winter with an umbilical pump.

Thanks Either layflat or the plastic would connect to a steel pipe on the tower and be used to stir as well as a side wall propeller

You’d assume the height of the tower above where you’re pumping from will have a bearing on weather lay flat will be up to it. Mine is a mixture of steel and plastic. I’d say plastic but there’s only one way to find out if lay flat will stand up to it!

will work no bother. doing exactly that here, pump from lagoon to tower ever 3-4 weeks in winter through lay flat and attached to metal pipe/jetter to get it over and into tower . 4 rings high and 20ish meters through a blue line (cri-man) umbilical pump.
