Film wrap round baler no more net wrap

I checked out the new film wrap round baler this week seems a good bit of kit what are your views

Had a baler twenty years ago that put film on a bale instead of net , found straw sweated that much that was no difference to netted stacked outside

The JD stuff was supposed to be breathable wasn't it?

Those balers can't also use net instead when baling straw?

The no net idea sounds like it was only intended for silage bales.

Will the water not get in an hold between the plastic an the straw?

2 minutes into that video it shows they can still run net wrap and looks like it could switch quite quickly between the two if needed.

We put plastic round the straw bales and leave them outside, straws just as good as inside and don’t need to shift them into a shed!

seems a bit slow letting the bale out and then moving it, a lot of time stopped, plus all this gathering the film to the middle of the bale before cutting it, looks like one turn of film that is just wasted.
verdict, slow and wasteful, could do better
