Another query please. This time it’s regarding a 1979 Ford 1900. The owner has asked me help find a Hydraulic Type filter. The only details was that it fits in the back axle somewhere. At app 200 mm x 53 mm dia it looks more like a strainer. Are these still available to buy ?

Pt no.SBA340500063 from the CNH parts list.
Supposedly a washable and reusable strainer. Unless it's damaged or missing of course.........

Thanks for the reply. The unit still looks serviceable so i will see if there was any other issues.
Is this part only available from the states ?

Would have thought any CNH dealer should be able to supply it. Or you could try eg. Platts Harris who I think are Shibaura dealers. (The Ford is a Shibaura in blue).

Spoke to Platts Harris. Very helpful. New part ordered. Old Unit looked like it had suffered high d.p on across the mesh so new unit needed
